Development and implementation of constructive and productive policy and program investment is one of government’s greatest challenges. Reductionist approaches and incremental fixes at times lead to adverse consequences that outweigh the benefit sought from the intervention.

The creating Preferred Future’s “systems logic” framework and methodology provides the basis on which to design, implement and evaluate policy and programs within their surrounding context, in particular linking policy and strategy to desired outcomes. This provides the basis for rigorous design and benefit/cost analysis of interventions and modelling to achieve improved optimisation.

The framework and its visual representation underpins meaningful and constructive conversation and socialisation of ideas and decisions leading to a compelling policy and program narrative on which to progress the intervention.
